TASER Projected Energy Weapons
You must meet the following requirements:

You must be 18 years of age or older.

You cannot have a violent felony or misdemeanor. For more details, read HERE.

Bring a valid government-issued picture ID to class.
BSIS Does not regulate, issue permits, or outline training for TASER or any stun device. TASER/AXON training is valid for 2 years and is highly recommended as Taser use is highly litigated.
Included in the class:

Classroom Instruction.

Written Exam.
-
Students will deploy at least 2 training cartridges.
TASER Energy Weapon Training does not require officers to be exposed to a TASER Energy Weapon to be certified as a user. This class does not include student experience being tased. To be EXPOSED to TASER and receive a Certificate showing Live TASER Exposure will be an additional $100.
